The Fourth Symposium of National Water Day
Water scarcity or water crisis, has drawn the attention of scientists and authorities in many countries, regarding water supply security, environmental conservation, and food security. “The Fourth Symposium of National Water Day” as the last 3 years is going to be held by national commission for UNESCO, in close cooperation with Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and participation of the deputy of president on women and Family Affairs, National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company, Iran Water Resources Management Company, water and soil deputy of Jihad-e-Agriculture Ministry, Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization, Department of Environment, Research and Planning Department of Ministry of Education, and NGOs Network. This event will be held on 4th of March 2019.
Holding this event has been the Chamber of Commerce’s agenda since 2015, and thus the Water Day Symposium Secretariat is based at National Centre of Strategic Planning Studies for Water and Agriculture. This event is an opportunity to gather all the water-related authorities as well as main stakeholders and artists and social activists to cooperate on water crisis.
This year’s motto of this event is:
“Leaving no one behind”
