The second working group meeting on the fifth plan of the center (Drought Monitoring and Prediction)

The second working group meeting on the fifth plan of the center (Drought Monitoring and Prediction) was held on 14 May 2023 at the Water Research Institute (WRI), Ministry of Energy. Three representatives from WRI including Dr. Reza Roozbahani, Dr. Mohammad Javad Zareian, and Dr. Hossein Dehban along with Dr. Naser Dehghanian (Secretary of International Drought Initiative, IDI at RCUWM) attended the meeting. In this meeting, the long-term plan consisting of measures and the estimated budget was drafted. This plan will be reviewed and discussed among RCUWM member states to be finalized.
